In the main Duty Free Shop, what you can buy from the alchol and tobacco sections is dependent on your destination.

Passengers flying outside the EU can shop in the Green Area of the Duty Free Shop, where you will be able to save up to 50%** off the UK high street price of a huge range of wines and spirits.

The following destinations are often assumed to be EU members, but they are not:

• Channel Islands
• Canary Islands
• Cyprus
• Malta
• Norway
• Switzerland

Passengers flying within the European Union can do their shopping in the Blue Area of the store, and save 15-20%** off the UK high street price of a range of favourite brands.

The following destinations are European Union Members:

All passengers can save up to 40%** off the UK high street price of fragrances, and all passengers can do their shopping at any tax free store after security control.

*Shopping at Tax Free prices is exclusively after security control. The Tax Free Price is equivalent to the selling price prior to the addition of Value Added Tax at 17.5%. Passengers travelling to a final destination outside the EU may be requested to pay tax on your purchases on arrival at your destination or and / or if they bring them back with you when returning to the UK. Newsagents, bookstores, pharmacies and certain products are excluded.
