Special rules you must follow
When driving in Andorra all vehicles must carry a warning triangle, first aid kit, a spare bulb kit and a fire extinguisher. The police are able to issue and collect 'on the spot fines' for not obeying these rules. For all passengers it is compulsory to wear both front and rear seatbelts, children over 10years of age are only allowed to sit in the front seat if over 150cm tall.

Parking A few basic rules
In Andorra they drive on the right hand side so remember to give way to traffic from the right, pay full attention especially at roundabouts. If there is a solid line in the road, remember to not pull out into the middle of the road to turn left. There are usually special lanes for this with signposts 'cambio de sentido'. Always abide by the speed limits which are low but the penalties are very high. Speed traps are becoming frequent so be aware. The use of mobile phones are banned although you may pull over on the side to make emergency calls only, you must abide by these rules as the police are also able to issue and collect 'on the spot fines' for this.
