Travel By Boat/Waterbus
There is an hourly waterbus service from 6.15am and 12.10am between the airport to San Marco, stopping also at Murano, Lido, Arsenale and Zattere. Tickets cost ,10 and can be bought on board or at the Alilaguna counter in the arrivals hall. Tel.+39 O41 5235775.
Travel by Water Taxi
A 25 minute taxi ride to Venice will cost from ,80 and this service can be ordered from the Consorzio Motoscafi counter in the arrivals hall. Tel. +39 041 5222303/ 041 5416363.
Travel by Bus or Coach
There is a frequent coach service between the airport and Piazzale Roma from 8.30am until 11.30pm. Tickets costing ,3 can be bought at the ATVO counter in the arrivals hall or at the ticket machine outside the main airport entrance. The journey takes 20 minutes. Tel. +39 041 5415180.
Buses from Venice Airport
Alternatively use the public no. 5 bus service, which also connects the airport with Piazzle Roma every 20 or 40 minutes. Buy tickets costing ,1 from the ACTV counter in the arrivals hall or at the ticket office at Piazzale Roma. Allow approximately 25 to 30 minutes for the journey. Tel. +39 041 5287886.
Travel by Taxi
To take a taxi car to Piazzale Roma, pick one up outside the main airport entrance. Expect to pay about ,30 for the 20 minute journey Cooperative Artigiana radio taxi. Tel. +39 041 936137/222
