Travel From Barcelona Airport
Travel by Train Barcelona Airport
Renfe Trains (www.renfe.es) run every half hour, the journey to Barcelona-Sants takes 20 minutes and costs E2.20. It's a bit of a schlepp across the covered bridge between Terminals A and B, despite the moving walkway.
Travel by Bus or Coach
The Aerobus, which stops outside each terminal every 15 minutes, is the quickest and easiest way to get to the city centre (Plassa Catalunya). The fare is E3.45.
Travel by Car
The drive into Barcelona is relatively easy. Take the C31 motorway toward Barcelona from the airport, then the Gran Via exit to the city centre. This exit is a bit tricky because once you're off the motorway it splits and you then have the option of heading to the port or to the suburb of Hospitalet. But if you pay attention to the signs leading to Gran Via you'll end up on this major urban artery.
Travel by Taxi
An excellent option if you have a lot of baggage, as it's a fast run into town. The fare to central Barcelona should be about E15-20, plus a supplement for each large item of luggage.
